Tracking Server
Tracking Server software provides collection of the information, its classification, archiving and providing it to the clients' applications.
The functions of the server include:
- Archiving of old data and periodical creation of backup copy of the data base;
- Managing user's rights/restrictions;
- Designation of the user rights;
- Designation of certain objects to certain users.
The connection with software applications goes through TCP/IP protocol. The number of service communication channels (incoming/outgoing) is limited only by the sources of the system. Linking programs come in a set with the server, GpsTsc - is used for receiving data from mobile terminal Car Tracker Pro and transmitting it to the server, but MapTsc - is used for receiving data from mobile terminal RT-GPS and transmitting it to the server.
